Square Enix profits down, but not on sales of franchises familiar keep alive

What we've parsed from six-month financial report by Square Enix (modeling 2010) is net income rather mild: ¥ 1.723 billion ($21.4 million). While any company would be change Pocket loss, Square Enix profits are down 36 percent from the same period last year and sales software for the first half of the year have relied heavily on "the contribution of the sale of very profitable to headlines, published in March report" - in other words: Final Fantasy XIII has picked up the slack.
