Sony says lack of cellular connection limits, «PSP players aren't satisfied» Smartphone with titles

by Randy Nelson 2010 28 Oct 10: 02 PM : added fuel to the bonfire "PlayStation phone so totally going on", senior VP of Sony Computer Entertainment America marketing, Peter Dille, told CNN that PSP in its current state is not reaching its full potential, due to the fact that lacks an always on (read: cellular data network) connection. "PSP is a WiFi device," Dille said, adding, "People are used to having always connected devices." Devices ... as Smartphone?

Dille spoke of Sony's PlayStation Network to make the "always accessible", admitting that the creator of console not "fully realize the vision with a WiFi device" and say, "if it is not connected [to a network of cell] then it sort of limit people."Maybe we could suggest a PSP which also incorporates the functionality of the phone?

In another comment "read between the lines", Dille spoken up Sony's desire to provide the gaming experience similar to console on a laptop, saying of games for iPhone and other smartphones, "these are largely time-killers. players are not met."In that case, we guess that Sony probably should consider showing them as smartphone game really should be done.
