THQ absorbs multiannual SpongeBob rights, includes game 3DS

After sending 29 million copies of pure gold of SpongeBob since 2002, THQ is not about to leave the money-maker hook. The Publisher has renewed its partnership with Nickelodeon for multiannual rights to develop and release titles of SpongeBob main platforms and distribution channels.

The first game in the new agreement was developed for 3DS, Kinect and THQ own uDraw GameTablet for Wii. It will be released next year, and you will probably have to buy (and one of these new technologies), if you have a child between 2 and 11 years.
